Tejano Queen Forever Band Members 

Esteban Rojas, from Colombia, is the founder/music director/keyboardist of the band. As a composer, arranger, and producer, he has performed and toured several countries with different projects and bands. He recorded a CD with Sony Music featuring some of his songs and arrangements. Classically trained, Esteban is also a professional orchestral conductor currently serving as the music director of the Flower Mound Symphony Orchestra. Esteban has been invited to conduct orchestras in Dominican Republic, Colombia, US, Peru, Mexico, and Guatemala. He is also the founder and manager of Cool Sound Music. 

Carymel Rodríguez, co-owner and lead vocalist for Selena Forever Tribute Band, is from the Dominican Republic. She developed her talent during her infancy, singing in churches and schools. Carymel started singing professionally at the age of 15 with different projects in her native country, achieving national recognition after winning the competition La Gira Del Sabor. Carymel has performed with many English and Spanish projects over the years as lead singer, showcasing her talent for a plethora of events in North and South America. She is currently involved in multiple projects based out of DFW. Her Latino heritage as well as her love and respect for Selena’s music brings passion and magic to the band’s performances. 

Mauricio Gutierrez Upmann, a percussionist originally from Havana, Cuba. Graduated musician from the University of Arts in his country, won an award in the Classical Percussion Contest, held annually in the city of Fermo, Italy. He has performed extensively at renowned venues in over 50 countries with important latin jazz bands, traditional and popular afrocuban music, sharing the stage with notable artists. Was the percussionist for almost 10 years of the top Salsa cuban band: Alexander Abreu and Havana d’ Primera.

Nate Lima is a renowned bassist, music producer, and audio engineer, with a career spanning over two decades. His experience includes over 20 years of performances throughout Brazil and 5 years internationally, in the United States. Throughout his journey, Nate has showcased versatility across various musical genres, contributing to the success of several bands, including Calcinha Preta, Edu e Maraial, Tony Garrido, Priscila Senna, Banda Magníficos, Banda Limão com Mel, among others. Moreover, he has made significant contributions to the Brazilian music scene, participating in numerous recordings alongside prominent artists.

Guitarist Chris Vasquez is a native of Texas and a staple of the variety music scene over the last 20 years as an arranger and producer. He also has plenty of national touring experience. He has performed for many tributes and top-40 bands in DFW with national projection. 

Mich Polan is a drum set/percussion performer and educator based out of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Mich has played with numerous artists in DFW Forte Entertainment Group, The Legacy Jazz Band, Parker Twomey, Salvation From Sundown, The Reece Malone Band, Selena Forever Tribute, Corey Breedlove, and many more. Mich has recorded on over 40 albums and EP's ranging from Christian Alternative, Progressive Rock, Pop, Singer Songwriter, Folk, Gospel, Jazz, and Jazz Fusion.
